Termite Inspections,Treatments & Management

This last week on social media facebook there have been a large amount of unhappy clients regarding termite management and services provided. The one which stands out to myself is a property in Murwillumbah where the previous pest company managing the site has had problems in getting a "Control" of termites on site and inside the dwelling.

As my default free site consultation stands asking for documents on previous works, Inspections and Treatments to see what has been happening and how we can assist.

The first thing noticed is prices of Inspections and treatments, as a business owner we all have our running costs and prices however looking at the documents for inspections  this instance the price is considerably cheaper than our price and knowing how long the site inspection takes due to the build and site pressure from termites it stands out that the site has not been thoroughly inspected and the costing of running a professional business hourly ratio and quality of workmanship slips thus making the dwelling and property in danger of having termites on site costing the owner more in unwanted costly treatments and damages not covered by their warranty or insurances.

An example of what we found was:

1: Termite mound at rear of property, microtermes not treated as they are a grass fed termite.

2: Baiting in subfloor not installed correctly to encourage termites into bait box, no entry point?

3: Termite Stations on site not serviced correctly, no timbers or have not been looked and the use of combinations of treatments inside the station, foaming termites in station, not to mention the price of which the client was charged.

After our site Termite Inspection i quickly found the problem areas and entry point active areas and gave a proposal to set up and protect an area using drill and inject with Termidor HE and on injecting came out coptotermes from the hole where suspected termites were.
