Zone Pest Blog
Today's topic is Termite Management and how to minimise Termites to your family home. This past week we have spoken to several new clients regarding what type of termite protection they should have? In my opinion the very first thing your property needs is regular inspections for the hungry pest between 3, 6 or 12 month intervals and as a Professional Pest Consultant we can manage the property before any barriers or monitoring will be decided, it is the client's decision if they actually want a barrier regarding either chemical or nonchemical, and what we can offer is a free consultation to the property and give honest advice which will minimise the chances of termites into a dwelling giving valuable information with conducive conditions...Why are you getting slugged with so much termite activity???
It may be neighbouring homes or council backing nature reserves?? The above picture is of a property that is currently being rented out and like most rentals are usually neglect or unkept In ground monitoring stations like Exterra and Sentricon are brilliant ways to actually see the breakdown of termites and their colony giving actual visual fact the queen is being hit and destroyed or drill and inject chemical barriers like Termidor a non repellant or biflex a repellant termiticide which give your home a great chance to assist in the battle of the hungry little destroyers. We do ask you before investing any money in termite management to consult ZONE PEST for a friendly free consultation because in my opinion there are some that want to push a barrier and is not needed. Having an outdoor space for your house means exposure to possum, rodent and etc. You will really need to step up your pest management system.
